Why are we doing this?

Most AI coverage is either high-level hype or dense academic papers.

Neither is particularly useful if you're trying to ship a product.

You don't need another article about how AI is "transforming the world."

You need to know if a new model's latency is low enough for production.

You need to know if an acquisition creates a real platform risk for the stack you're building on.

This newsletter is for builders who are building in Voice AI space.

Or want to build in it.

We're in the trenches building voice infrastructure every day at Vapi.

We'll cover this space from that perspective… focused on what it takes to move from a prototype to a scalable product.

We'll track the market, look at real-world implementations, and share what we learn.
